Week 3: Familiarity with additional materials (sewing needle, stitch markers, safety eyes, poly- fill, etc…), color changes, fastening off projects, sewing pieces together, review of skills as needed. If time allows it, work on a simple small project.

You’ll gain hands-on experience installing a zipper, adding a fabric lining, and assembling the pouch, all while putting your previously learned sewing skills to good use. We recommend bringing your own sewing machine if possible. If you do, please ensure it’s in good working order and includes a zipper foot attachment.
